Description

Skating for the Glove – Sam Albright 2019 Oil on canvas  24″ x 36″  framed in a handmade cherry frame.  This painting has a rich story to it. While skating on his frozen pond with some friends, Albright saw an image similar to a series of prints by the 19th century “Symbolist” Max Von Klinger. He is running back to the house to get the idea down in his notebook.
